Wildlife Concerns

A variety of wildlife make their homes in Wellesley's parks and open space areas. As they enjoy the beauty of our natural resources as much as we do, the NRC encourages residents not to disturb these animals. Most are not aggressive and will move on when they sense people in the area; please keep pets under control should you encounter wildlife.

If you notice abnormal behavior, it may indicate the animal is sick. Do not approach - contact Animal Control Officer Sue Webb at 781-235-8460.
