Volunteers are, and have always been, an integral part of Wellesley Town Government. It is volunteers, elected or appointed, who make policy, serve on committees, give of their time and talents, and make the Town what it is. The Board of Selectmen are charged with making a number of these appointments to town boards which they do annually in late spring for the ensuing fiscal year that begins on July 1st.

The Board of Selectmen follow their Appointments Policy to select persons to serve on boards/committees, including: Council on Aging Cultural Council Veterans Council And others….
